Get ‘em started early! Bodhi has been asking me if she can help me make something. This seemed like a safer intro than power tools! Plus, @rubiomonocoatusa is fun to put on with a squeegee! #woodwork #tablebuilder #builder #jesuswasacarpenter ...

SAPELE OUTDOOR TABLE! this bad boy gave me all I wanted! Lots of angles. First table I’ve ever built without wood glue. I used @totalboat THIXO to endure the elements and radical KY seasonal changes. Finished with red penofin , also a first. Love the end product! No end grain is exposed, so hopefully that will mitigate wood movement. #woodwork #outdoortable #craftsmanship #clarkmanship #jesuswasacarpenter ...

Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are older, they won’t turn from it. -Proverbs 22:6 ...

Turning stools, for the Turner’s turned out nice!
Sorry not sorry...that dad joke was worth it!

I’M NOT A PHOTOGRAPHER, PROMISE...
But this picture suggests otherwise.

In the wee hours of the night I delivered this table as @rusticnailandco was finishing up their masterful work for the lounge space at the AMP. This morning the space was clean and other furniture had not been delivered...the perfect blank canvas of a back drop!

The culmination of a whirlwind week stops here. A giant coffee table for @logstilldistillery built from a log cabin beam on Wally’s farm (the owner).

Charred, polished and repeat x 3. A high gloss finish floating atop a cherry base complete with castle joinery, that you can actually see!

This place has made such a big splash in our community. Giving opportunities for work, creativity, hometown pride! From farmers to carpenters and everyone in between.

I texted my brother last night with a unique excitement... “musicians from all over the country will enjoy a glass of bourbon made from your grain and set it down on a table made from my grain.” Now that’s what I call #buildwithastory

WOODSHOP TIP ... if you need the straight drilling offered by a press but can’t fit your item in the press. Get a piece of 8/4 stock...drill your hole in it on the press. Then use it as a guide with your hand drill. #woodshop #woodwork #build #jesuswasacarpenter ...

⭐️ FINISH FRIDAY⭐️

This week has been....a lot...good a lot, great a lot...but a lot of finished projects (still several to catch up on)
Solid Ash table and bench. Finished with @rubiomonocoatusa chocolate for my friend @dmop83 and his lovely wife Mo!

Chunky, curvy trestle bases are my favorite to make. The @grizzlyindustrial bandsaw and @inventor_of_the_restorer are absolute essential tools in my shop fit this design! #woodshop #trestle #woidwork #bandsaw #sandingisntsobad #jesuswasacarpenter ...

I know I’m can’t be the only #girldad out there that finds themselves in this situation...pink pencils with unicorns. I don’t think my shop would be complete without it! #woodshop @grizzlyindustrial #bandsaw ...

🎶: The Piano Guys: Walking the wire/Largo

I’ve made these type of bases before...but this is the first time on the new Grizzly Bandsaw! Game changer, cuts like butter!

Literally a century in the making. Cladding of barn wood from my Great Grandads barn. The shop was entirely built by me, dad, my brother, my uncle and a couple of close friends that answered the call on Saturday afternoon to help with the roof.
I know I post pictures of this old/new shop frequently, but this is probably my favorite. #thisoldshop #woodshop #buildastory #clarkmanship #jesuswasacarpenter

#FestoolTough The most unique tool in my shop is the domino! When I started woodworking, I lacked the skill to build the quality I was perusing. I made the decision to purchase tools that would narrow the gap between the skills I had and the outcome I desired. Putting a few Festool products on the top of the list is a decision I have yet to regret. #woodshop
